Surprised by the success of his clumsy cursive font Yellabelly, Chank created a cleaner script that is loopy and elegant, but still has a natural hand-drawn character. In all caps, Quimby Mayoral looks like someone dropped a bowl of spaghetti. But when you mix the upper and lowercase letters, you get some pretty fancy effects. Chank named the font after the mayor of Springfield.
