Fonts by Park Street Studio

One part type foundry and one part fine art studio, Park Street Studio was founded some time ago by type designer Jim Lyles. Located near Boston, Park Street Studio is dedicated to creating original typefaces and producing high quality font families, rich in OpenType features and always with broad European language support.

Jim's type career spans 33 years. Back in the 80's he worked at Mergenthaler Linotype and Techni-Process, both in NYC. And for the following 28 years, he worked at Bitstream in Cambridge, MA. He is also owner of BluHead Studio where he continues digitizing the vast phototype library of Joseph Churchward. In addition, Jim has contributed to Stuart Sandler's Filmotype project and the Hamilton Wood Type Foundry.
