Font Family by Jeff Levine Fonts
Includes 2 Font Styles from $55
Buy NowThe July 21, 1945 issue of Showman's Trade Review carried an ad for a newsreel-style World War II film short called "The Fleet That Came to Stay" with a teaser headline of "Kamikazes".
That single word headline was lettered in a bold, free form sans and served as the basis for Newsreel Report JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
Because of the novelty shape of the characters, the font is spaced and kerned very tight.
