BluHead Studio LLC was founded in 2005 by 3 seasoned designers, Steve Zafarana, Jim Lyles and Sue Zafarana with the goal to provide high quality original typefaces and design services. The company is presently filling out the character sets and digitizing the font designs of New Zealand designer Joseph Churchward to make his library of exciting and unique fonts available in OpenType format.

Providing digitizing and design services as well as producing their own original designs should keep this group busy until it’s time for them to be put into the Retired and Broken Down Type Designers Home where they are sure to sit around in their wheel chairs and tell tales of the “big serif that got away”.
