Sewn XL

Sewn XL carries the finest and densest thread treatment in the Sewn family. At the same type size, it uses more slender marks and more repeated passes than S, M, or L, creating the most detailed impression of overlapping machine stitches. That intricacy is intended for extra-large lettering, where a coarser pattern would expand into implausibly heavy strands.

Use Sewn XL for window graphics, exhibition walls, stage screens, oversized campaign headlines, stadium displays, large-format apparel imagery, and close-up motion titles. Set it generously so the many thread turns read as construction rather than noise. When the design is reduced for hangtags, ecommerce tiles, or small packaging, switch to L, M, or S instead of shrinking XL until its detail collapses. Sewn XL provides an editable visual effect, not production-ready embroidery paths.
