Hand-drawn labels are appealing until you need fifty of them. Once jars, drawers, bottles, bins, or product variants form a system, the same irregular lettering that looked charming on one label can make the whole collection feel chaotic. Squirty keeps the hand-drawn variation while giving the line a surprisingly stable structure.

Its letters vary noticeably in size, but instead of bouncing along the baseline, they are organized around a shared vertical middle. Individual characters can be odd without making the word itself jump around. The result has some of the loose familiarity of newspaper-comic lettering, but it is calmer than the usual zany cartoon alphabet. Automatic shuffling changes common letter combinations as you type, helping repeated labels avoid the rubber-stamp effect that often gives away a handwriting font.

Spice and ingredient ranges are a particularly natural fit. Sumac, Fenugreek, Cumin, Za’atar, Smoked Paprika, and dozens of other jars need enough consistency to read as one product family without looking industrial. The same idea works for loose-leaf teas, seasoning blends, pantry containers, and refill systems, where standardized bottles and dispensers benefit from a more human layer of identification.

Workshops and creative spaces offer another useful setting. Craft-storage drawers, sewing cabinets, art-supply carts, maker labs, and ceramics studios may contain hundreds of compartments marked Brushes, Fasteners, Thread, Glazes, or Parts. Squirty makes those labels feel at home in a well-used workspace while its middle alignment keeps the overall system orderly.

The same principle can carry into garment information and circular-product labeling: repair tags, care-and-reuse cards, resale programs, material labels, and product-passport prompts can use Squirty for approachable headings while a neutral companion face handles the technical data. Interactive exhibits and game worlds can use it similarly for specimen drawers, discovery cabinets, crafting inventories, recipe collections, and other groups of individually named things.

Squirty is handwriting for organized collections; the letters are allowed to misbehave individually while the system around them stays under control.
