Valletta

Valetta is an elegant, high-contrast condensed face with signature top-left slab serifs and triangular elements, as seen on the A, V and W. Its geometric construction and vertical black-white 'keyboard' rhythm avoid historical affectation. Named after the capital of Malta, whose narrow streets and tall buildings were an inspiration, it evokes a crisp modernity with unusual sophistication and grace, looking especially refined in letterspaced settings.
