New Sheriff

An artistic take designed to appear decorative, New Sheriff is inspired by the nineteenth century wooden type, Renaissance. New Sheriff preserves qualities of decorative nineteenth century industrial typography while placing emphasis on legibility and simplicity-staples of today’s design standards. One could describe it as a futuristic western typeface. New Sheriff features four variations-Solid, Lined, Dotted, and Crossed-all sharing the same letterforms while incorporating varying design elements. In addition to numbers, punctuation, and a full alphabet, New Sheriff also features a set of unique western glyphs such as a horseshoe and moneybag. This typeface has been featured in a gallery project and never fails to draw attention.
