Fonts by Fonts by Andreas

Swedish type designer Andreas Lindkvist knows that there are a lot of people producing typefaces these days, but as he remarks, "I think about it like this - No one makes fonts like I do. Everyone has a personal style and I don’t try to keep up with trends." Andreas is influenced by magazines, web sites, the work of Neville Brody, old Russian posters, and artist Keith Haring. Design is an emotional experience for Andreas. It's a feeling that he says gets in his head, heart and stomach – but mostly stomach. He thinks design is more about how to communicate feelings these days. He states. "Maybe a new language will develop in the same way slang pops up and becomes part of popular speech. And the written word on the web will become stronger."
