Silentina Film

Silentina Film combines Pastel-based lowercase with capitals derived from Della Robbia, echoing the mixed type choices found in silent-film intertitles. Its rounded lowercase keeps the text approachable, while the firmer, more inscriptional capitals give prominent words and headings a distinct formal register. Softened edges help newly set lettering settle naturally beside photographed, duplicated, or restored footage.

Use Silentina Film for opening credits, chapter headings, formal title cards, restoration graphics, screening programs, and museum displays about early cinema. Pair it with Silentina Movie when a production needs to separate credits and headings from dialogue or narration while keeping both voices convincingly within the same silent-era world.
