Sewn S

Sewn S is the most simplified member of Sewn’s display-size system. At the same type size, it uses the broadest thread-like marks and the fewest visible turns, keeping the stitched construction bold and recognizable when the lettering must be reproduced relatively small. The coarse texture is deliberate: it prevents fine faux-embroidery detail from disappearing during reduction.

Use Sewn S for compact product graphics, small ecommerce tiles, hangtags, packaging callouts, social thumbnails, and short labels that still need a textile connection. It remains a display face rather than body text, and it does not generate embroidery-machine files. Move to M, L, or XL as the final lettering grows and there is room for progressively finer drawn stitch detail.
