Mufferaw Ol

Mufferaw Outline opens the family’s sturdy, comic-derived forms into broad hollow letters. Outer and inner contours define each stroke, preserving Mufferaw’s angular joins, flat terminals, and irregular conversational rhythm without filling the letterforms. Unlike Mufferaw Shaded, it remains flat, with no offset depth or solid shadow behind the open face.

Use Mufferaw Outline for science-center zone names, maker-fair posters, robotics-kit badges, coding-game title screens, and achievement graphics that need a lighter version of the family’s voice. The open construction can also separate cleanly from a contrasting background in one-color print or digital layouts. Keep it to short names and generous display sizes, where the interior channels remain distinct, and use a solid Mufferaw style for instructions, captions, and other small text.
