Mexcellent Middle

Mexcellent Middle contains only the single line that runs along the center of each character’s strokes. It registers exactly with Back and Outside: overlay all three for the complete trilinear lettering, place Middle over Back for a restrained inline accent, or animate and recolor it independently as the moving core of a title.

Use Middle as a contrasting team-color stripe in broadcast packages, matchup cards, footwear wordmarks, packaging, and event graphics, or assign it to foil, metallic ink, spot varnish, or illumination in a physical build. Although it can make spare monoline display lettering on its own, its main role is as a companion layer, so keep the text, size, and alignment identical across the stack and test the fine line at final scale.
