Jillican War

Jillican War takes Jillican's octagonal, Gill Sans-influenced framework and divides its strokes with deliberate stencil gaps. The breaks follow the clipped corners and angular joins, so the alphabet retains the family's humanist proportions while becoming more mechanical and regimented. Its treatment is clean and repeatable rather than weathered, and it remains a filled face instead of using the outlined dimensional construction found in Jillican War 3D.

Use Jillican War for tactical data displays, sports-broadcast graphics, football kit launches, matchday programmes, strategy-game interfaces and fictional faction insignia. The segmented forms also suit utility-fashion campaigns, technical-footwear graphics, political-thriller titles and post-punk layouts. Keep it to names, numerals, short headlines and other display text where the stencil breaks have enough size to remain clear.
