Forgotten Futurist Shadow

Forgotten Futurist Shadow turns the family’s squared industrial letterforms into a single-color outline-and-shadow treatment. Each character has an open face edged by a fine contour, with a crisp shadow offset down and to the right. The construction keeps Forgotten Futurist’s narrow proportions and blunt engineered joins while adding dimensional emphasis that the ordinary weights and italics do not provide.

Use Shadow for short display text on equipment-catalog covers, utility anniversary graphics, facility open-house posters, trade-show panels, service-bay signs, and retro-technical exhibition titles. The open face can reveal a photograph, texture, or contrasting field while the built-in shadow gives the lettering a firm edge. It works best for prominent names, numbers, and brief headings; pair it with Forgotten Futurist’s regular styles for specifications, captions, and longer supporting text.
