Cinecav X Type

Cinecav X Type combines fixed-width typewriter rhythm with firm slab details, giving captions the character of transcripts, teleprinters, and production documents. It feels more mechanical than Serif and more authored than Mono, while remaining part of the same broadcast-derived system.

Use Type for archival footage, interview transcripts, investigative documentaries, terminal demonstrations, retro technology programs, timecoded notes, and story graphics built around records or correspondence. Pair it with its italic for quoted material, annotations, and alternate speakers without changing the underlying spacing.
