Naslof

NASLOF is a beautiful vibrant font family consisting of three styles. It's an all-caps font supporting Latin and Cyrillic.

ABOUT THE CONCEPT

The idea for Naslof started from the color version. Actually, it is just one of the 14 color font concepts developed during research. Only the two most extreme of them have turned into actual fonts so far — Olcino and Naslof.

Olcino is intentionally the "most irrational" one. It examines how far we can go with adding a visual/emotional message to the basic letterforms while still keeping them recognizable. Naslof goes in the counter-direction: to apply colors most logically, immanent to the shape of letterforms, preserving the maximum legibility.

Each segment has one of three solid colors from the palette. As a final step, a black linear frame is added, which differentiates segments and ensures the colors are visible over any background. It gives the font a bit of an Art Deco look (especially the "wireframe" style).

Naslof is an all-caps font supporting Latin and Cyrillic. In addition, it has numbers, punctuation, symbols, and accented characters.
