Longweather

LONGWEATHER is a serif font with the gentle feel of the early 20th century. The letterforms convey homeyness and history without being overly familiar. LONGWEATHER was inspired by the North Carolina historical markers program begun in 1935. These cast metal signs appear across the state, drawing attention to places of interest. Unfortunately, I was not able to gather much more information about the signs themselves, but they are all available online for your enjoyment.
