Laitos

Laitos is a bold, futuristic display font built from tightly arranged geometric shapes, sharp right angles, and striking horizontal forms. Its unconventional letterforms combine solid rectangular strokes with narrow cutouts and precise linear details, creating a distinctive modular appearance inspired by technology, electronic circuitry, and experimental typography.

Originally designed by Fenotype in 2002, Laitos captures the unmistakable spirit of early digital design with a retro-futuristic aesthetic that feels equally at home in contemporary creative projects. Its compact, architectural lettering is especially effective for electronic music graphics, science fiction titles, gaming artwork, technology branding, posters, and experimental logos.

With its heavy construction and unmistakably mechanical personality, Laitos is designed for attention-grabbing headlines and short display text where visual impact takes priority over convention.
