Basenji Variable

Basenji Variable takes the Rondo–Pump–Bauhaus–Blippo tradition into the future. Featuring both weight and slant axes, it lets you create exactly the style you need—from hairline to heavy, from upright to subtle slant—without being confined to static font files.

Its geometry remains true to the spirit of those vintage icons, but the underlying technology is pure 21st century. Responsive design, smooth animation, and precise print layouts all become easier with a single, space-saving font file.

Basenji Variable offers the timeless appeal of mid-century modular curves, now paired with the adaptability and control that today’s projects demand.
