Bank Statement Pro AOE is a faithful reconstruction of lettering produced on a Smith & Corona typewriter, drawn directly from the mechanical imprint of a Pica Gothic Type No. 15 keyset. Each character preserves the subtle inconsistencies of impact, ink spread, and alignment that defined mid-century office correspondence, government memoranda, and institutional recordkeeping.

Designed with archival intent, the font carries the restrained authority of carbon copies, field reports, and typed forms filed away in steel cabinets. Slight irregularities in stroke weight and contour reflect the physical realities of typebars and ribbon wear, lending the face an unmistakably authentic texture without drifting into novelty or distortion.

This is not a decorative imitation, but a document-first typeface—meant to feel operational, procedural, and historically grounded.
