Cathexis Font by Jukebox
About:
Cathexis is part of a series of fonts I created based on the lettering styles of the late sign painter Mike Stevens. I love the look of the tall, thick letters with the thin counter spaces. With its sans serif style, Cathexis feels contemporary and yet has hints of the 1970s and 1980s. The tight letter spacing and interesting lack of descenders, gives the font an almost graphic feel that balances between form and function. Cathexis contains several alternate versions of upper and lowercase letters as well as a set of Display Caps that hang below the baseline. Cathexis pairs really well with a casual script font!
Jukebox fonts are available in OpenType format and downloadable packages contain both .otf and .ttf versions of the font. They are compatible on both Mac and Windows. All fonts contain basic OpenType features as well as support for Latin-based and most Eastern European languages.
