Chewy Caramel

I really don't like candy. In fact, I even hate the smell of candy! But? You can wake me up for caramel in any form or shape! When I was a kid, we used to get a tin of wrapped English ?quality? toffees for Christmas. My favourites were the big, flat chewy caramels in a bright purple wrapper!
