After graduating Columbus College of Art & Design with a degree in advertising design, Mark Searfoss has been working as a professional art director and graphic designer since 1995. He’s made a career working for advertising agencies, corporate organizations, and his own roster of personal clients. In his free time, you can find Mark on the hunt for unique typographic bottle labels, hand-painted murals and old storefront signage from the early 1900s. After discovering a particularly intriguing label from the Portner Malt Extract Company, Mark created his first font in 2015. Since then he has created over 20 fonts and continues to be inspired by his vintage finds.
