About: Mempix is a chic vibrant multicolor font. Inspired by the postmodern design of Memphis Group, its identity can be described as Pop Art + 80s. Mempix is happy, cheerful, optimistic, and lives between Miami–Paris–Tokyo–Milan–Memphis ;)

Its fresh and attractive look is perfect for making eye-candy social media posts that will attract your new followers! The elements of every character are very carefully visually balanced, making each letter a separate piece of art, perfect for logo usage.

I wanted to make it as bold as it could be, to enable maximum space for color geometry shapes (triangles, circles, squares and lines). No glyph has the same colors/shapes combination, for the sake of visual variability. Some glyphs lost their white space (like A, V, B etc.) while others have it minimal, in order to keep themselves recognizable (H, E, G i.e). In such situation, overall blackness of the glyph became much more important than vertical/horizontal contrast.

This makes Mempix "ultra display" typeface,because it bends some usual type rules in order to become even bolder and cooler.

TECH DETAILS
