About:

I was born 1976 in Krems, Austria. At early age, I was introduced by daddy’s “Letraset Handbuch Grafik Design” to the wonderful world of type. I would be lying if I said I always wanted to become a designer, but after graduating at a Secondary College of Engineering, I knew Graphic Design was the only way for me to go. After 10 years of working as Graphic Designer and Art Director in Vienna I rediscovered what fascinated me as a kid drawing glyphs out of the Letraset book and started phospho, a microfoundry with special interest in Vienna’s very own city typography. I now find type the only thing that can be as beautiful as music can be.
